| Product Name | PCA826 High Accuracy Vibration Tilt Sensor / Inclinometer |
| Model Number | PCA826 (sometimes shown as PCA826-485 or PCA826T / PCA826T-CAN2.0A) |
| Brand | RION (Shenzhen Rion Technology Co., Ltd.) |
| Category | Tilt Sensor / Inclinometer / Vibration-resistant Dual-Axis Tilt Sensor |
| Country Origin | Guangdong, China |
| Material | Rugged sealed housing (rated IP67), designed for industrial / vehicle-mount use. |
| Applications | Engineering-vehicle leveling, platform or chassis leveling, tilt measurement & monitoring under vibration (e.g. construction vehicles, radar/satellite antenna vehicles, heavy machinery), structural tilt/vibration monitoring (bridges, dams, buildings), wind-power tower monitoring, geological / railway / infrastructure tilt or vibration detection. |
The PCA826 tilt sensor from RION is a high-precision, dual-axis inclinometer designed for demanding applications where both tilt measurement and resistance to vibration/shock are needed. It supports a measuring range up to ±60° (other optional ranges: ±5°, ±10°, ±30°), with a resolution of 0.0005° and a zero-temperature drift coefficient of 0.0002°/°C — enabling very accurate tilt readings even under changing environmental conditions.
Electrical/output options are flexible: the sensor supports RS422, RS485, RS232, or CAN 2.0A interfaces, with a wide supply voltage range of DC 9–36 V, making integration with many vehicle or industrial control systems straightforward.
ope with rough conditions, the PCA826 is built for durability: it operates over -40 °C to +85 °C, is IP67 rated, and offers strong shock and vibration resistance (e.g. as specified: shock up to 100 g @ 11 ms, vibration up to 10 g rms, 10–1000 Hz) for reliable functioning under heavy loads or mobile-equipment motion.
Because it measures tilt in two axes (biaxial), the PCA826 is ideal for vehicle leveling applications — for example, ensuring a construction vehicle or radar-antenna truck is level on uneven ground. But it's also widely used in structural and infrastructure monitoring (bridges, dams, wind turbines), geological equipment tilt sensing, satellite-antenna leveling, and other scenarios where precise angle measurement under vibration or motion is required.
Its combination of high resolution and robustness — along with flexible digital outputs and a wide supply range — makes the PCA826 a versatile inclinometer for industrial, civil-engineering, and vehicle-based applications.
