| Category | Industrial disc brake, fail-safe type |
| Country of Origin | Japan |
| Material | Sturdy metal housing, multiple coil springs for braking, pneumatic cylinder, replaceable friction pads, lever mechanism. |
| Applications | Fail‑safe operation: brakes engage automatically by spring force upon air loss or power failure; pneumatic input needed to release. Ideal for hoisting equipment, cranes, steelmaking machines, conveyors, vehicles, and other heavy-duty industrial and safety-critical applications. |
SUNTES’s spring‑applied, pneumatic‑release series (DB‑3010AF through DB‑3039AF) offer spring-powered braking that engages automatically upon air pressure loss. Releasing requires piping air to chambers sized from ~110 cm² (DB‑3010AF) to ~687 cm² (DB‑3039AF). Designed for robustness, they support disc diameters from ~200 mm to 900 mm+, making them ideal for critical safety systems in hoisting machinery, steel mills, cranes, and industrial vehicles. Replaceable pads, high heat resistance, and optional configurations (L/R side, chamber size variants) enhance flexibility.
