These Coelbo enclosures (series like CCA, CPS, CCL, CCF, S/SO/EMH90, RI, ROI) are heavy-duty housings for electrical or instrumentation components in Zone 1/21 classified hazardous areas. Constructed from copper-free aluminium—or stainless steel AISI 316L for corrosion resistance—they feature IP66/67 protection and a variety of ATEX/IECEx explosion-proof certifications: Ex d/tb, and optionally Ex db [ia Ga]/Ex tb [ia Da]. Models are available both empty (Ex component certified, requiring additional on-site certification) and pre-equipped with junction terminals or instrumentation. Sizes and conduit entries vary, supporting diverse industrial needs.
