DEFORM-2D
It is a program that can be interpreted very quickly with two-dimensional conditions. Simulation types can be axisymmetrical, plane strain, plane stress, and torsion. As with DEFORM-3D, the challenges of highly complex plastic machining can be different.
It provides the combined behavior of deformation, heat transfer, and molding equipment in an integrated system environment. It can predict the flow of materials, filling, molding loads, mold stresses, and the occurrence of defects in cold, warm, and hot processes.
It is possible to perform two-dimensional analysis of plane strain and axisymmetric conditions, as well as 2-1/2D analysis with constant plane flow. The multi-variant capability can simultaneously interpret the deformation of composites or materials and molds. It enables highly efficient one-step mold stress analysis, including the use of reinforcing rings.
Through the self-contact condition, it is possible to perform continuous analysis even after the folding defect occurs. Custom subroutines can define fluid stress, press behavior, cracking, etc., and can also be used for special post-processing such as microstructure, mechanical properties, etc
