Flapper-type flow meters are flow meters that place an angularly displaceable flapper (plate-shaped) supported by a spring in the flow path. The flow rate is measured by the change in the static angle of the flapper caused by the differential pressure generated by the fluid passing through.
Available sight glass types that allow for monitoring the flow conditions.
