The CMC50 Series by Clarostat is a rugged fixed wire-wound power resistor designed for chassis mounting and high-power applications. Housed in a durable metal body, the resistor element is a precision wound wire giving stable resistance under elevated power and temperature conditions. The datasheet shows power ratings up to 50 W (as in the CMC50 variant) with temperature coefficient of 90 ppm/°C, wide resistance range, high dielectric-withstand voltage (2 500 V for the 50 W models) and excellent stability under shock and vibration.
