The CCG Swivel Barrier Adaptor (SBA series) is a flameproof-rated swivel fitting designed for Ex d conduit systems in hazardous-area installations. Crafted from marine-grade nickel-plated brass (or optional SS316/316L or aluminium), it contains a quick-setting resin barrier in the swivel joint to maintain explosion protection on both sides. The swivel function enables independent tightening of male and female threads, while male threads include a sealing gasket. Available in multiple thread conversions and core capacities, it reliably seals, converts, and connects conduit to enclosures under NEC/CEC, IECEx, ATEX, UKEX standards.
