The CF-000 / CF-090 series from Omega (DwyerOmega) is a rugged, compression-fitting thermocouple designed for demanding plastic processing applications. These probes feature a 3/16″ stainless-steel sheath, a 1/8″ NPT brass compression fitting, and a flexible stainless-armored cable (standard 1.5 m). Rated for service temperatures up to 480 °C (900 °F), they support J, K, T, or E thermocouple types and come in straight (CF-000) or 90° bend (CF-090) configurations. The standard termination is spade lugs (Style 1) or OST male connector (Style 2), with grounded junction as default (ungrounded available). These sensors are ideal for monitoring temperature in extruder barrels, dies, and crossheads, providing accurate and reliable measurement for process control.
