The CCG Breather Drain Plug (BDM/BDN series) is engineered to allow atmospheric venting and moisture drainage in industrial and hazardous-area (Ex d, Ex e, Ex tb) enclosures. Manufactured in South Africa from nickel‑plated marine-grade brass (316/316L stainless steel optional), it features a bronze or stainless-steel sintered filter and gasket for reliable seal and venting. It comes with metric (M12–M25) or NPT (½″, ¾″) threads and includes either a castellated Ex e nut or vibration-resistant gasket + locknut. Certified to IECEx, ATEX, UKEX, CEC/NEC, SANS, marine and IP standards, it’s ideal for equipment requiring environmental protection without pressure buildup.
