The V86 marine corrections antenna is an L-Band and MF antenna that receives Veripos’ correction services to deliver precise positioning. The design ensures receipt of corrections even at low elevations. It incorporates a narrow-band filter, which makes it less susceptible to out-of-band radio frequency (RF) interference.

The V86 receives Veripos’ correction services, including Differential GNSS (DGNSS) and Precise Point Positioning (PPP) delivered by L-Band geostationary satellites, providing users with robust positioning. Additionally, the antenna receives corrections broadcast via the MF Beacon network as a backup, removing the need for a separate antenna.

The V86 antenna is a quad-helix design to ensure reception of L-Band signals at all elevations down to 10° to maintain reception at low elevation angles, even in polar/high-latitude regions. Enclosed in a durable, waterproof housing, the V86 meets IEC60945 specifications for all offshore marine applications.
