wenglor’s Time-of-Flight Laser Distance Sensors operate on the transit-time measurement principle: a laser pulse is emitted and the sensor measures the time until the reflection returns to determine distance.
Thanks to wenglor’s proprietary “wintec” technology (and “Dynamic Sensitivity” mode in certain models), these sensors offer high sensitivity and reliability even on challenging surfaces — dark, shiny, transparent, or angled — which traditional sensors struggle with.
