The WIKA LGG glass level gauge is engineered for direct visual indication of liquid levels in industrial tanks and process vessels. Its robust design features a precision‑machined gauge body containing the liquid channel and seating surfaces for seals and sight glasses. The assembly is secured using U‑bolts and pressure frames, ensuring leak‑tight performance even under extreme conditions.
The LGG series uses borosilicate glass in accordance with DIN 7081, offering excellent thermal and chemical resistance. For steam applications, the gauge can operate up to 243 °C, and with mica protection, up to 300 °C. In special cases, temperatures up to 374 °C are possible. Operating pressures range from vacuum to 250 bar, making the LGG suitable for demanding environments such as chemical processing, oil and gas, and power generation.
Optional features include illumination, heating, and insulation, enabling use in low‑visibility or extreme‑temperature environments. A wide variety of process connections and materials ensures compatibility with nearly any installation.
The LGG series is available in multiple configurations (reflex, transparent, weld‑on, high‑pressure, cryogenic), allowing engineers to select the ideal gauge for their specific application.
