Compared to the KM10, the KM10a offers significantly reduced temperature drift, achieved through a built‑in adjustment board containing temperature‑compensating resistors (<0.01%/K). The sensor uses a high‑flexibility MESC‑4x0014‑PUR cable from the sensor to the adjustment board, followed by a robust PVC STC‑31V‑4 cable for improved durability.

Its extremely small dimensions—starting at Ø9.5 mm × 3.18 mm—make it ideal for robotics, medical devices, micro‑mechanical systems, and precision test setups where space is limited.
